DCUK Day
So D day is getting closer and D is nearing the completion of this stage of its evolution. It’s all starting to come back together now and is beginning to look even more amazing than it already did!
As you know if you follow our blogs, we have had the bodywork apart and have had some bits at the painters, we almost have it all back now and have been rebuilding D to make it look like a car again, and so far we are impressed with what we are seeing. Once we have the final body bits back from the paint shop it will be time to add the Texaco livery again, this time all the vinyl has been donated by DOUBLECLUTCH UK, massive thanks to Scotty for sorting this for us, D will be getting revealed at his summer show on June 4th.
We have also been working on and finishing up the installation for our audio setup, and boy it’s loud, we have now added an extra bank of speakers for mid-range and treble in a custom box built by our students, but still a little bit of tidying up to do on it but it is getting there, massive thanks to Alan at midbass.com.
We also have all the new Bilstein B14 coil-overs and white line front and rear anti-roll bars now installed, and it’s all looking great, massive thank you to Bilstein UK and Peter at co-ordsport motorsport for their help.
